Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in free draining soil. When planting, dig a hole twice the width and twice the depth of the pot. Try to cut the pot away from the Grass Tree to preserve as much of the rootball as possible, and so not to disturb the roots. Mix in a native mix with the existing soil when backfilling and water in thoroughly. Mulch well to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Water as required for 8-12 weeks until established. Water deeply in warmer months reduce frequency in cooler months. Fertilise in warmer months with a native slow-release fertiliser to encourage growth.
